Skeletal System

In our body there are 206 bones in our body it is joint at tightly fixed framework.

That framework is called a skeleton.

TYPE OF BONES

There are 3 types of bones are 1-Skull 2-Back bone 3-rib cage

Our skull is made of up 21 fixed bones the lower jaw there is 8flat bone interlocked together inside the skull is the brain.
The skull protects our brain. 

The facial region has 14 bones. This only the lower jaw is moveable. It enables us to talk and eat. The has opened for eye, mouth, ear, nose

BACKBONE

The backbone is made of 33 small ring-shaped bone called vertebrae the skull is attached to the backbone.

Which forms a great axis of the skeleton of 33 vertebrae the 7 present in the neck region.

RIB CAGE

The rib cage thin and curved bone it protects our lungs and hearts its shape is round like a circle it had 7 rib pairs joint to the sternum.
